Alumni Back in Action

YA/YA would like to acknowledge Rontherin “Ron” Ratliff for his dedication and continuing work to represent the spirit of empowerment. Ron, a former YA/YA artist, has been with the organization since 1993. He has worked on several of the organization’s historical mural sites, both locally and nationally . Through his business, Majestic Lines, he has been contracted over the past five years to design and fabricate wooden project materials for YA/YA Urban Heroes youth programs. He has also documented YA/YA programs and designed handcrafted picture books for the organization.

This past fall he was contracted to design the first YA/YA “Coming Home” mural on the wall of the CAC. YA/YA would like to congratulate Ron on his recent accomplishments and years of service to New Orleans and YA/YA.
