International Clock Painting Workshop May 2007

YA/YA Urban Heroes completes another successful semester at our partnering schools. Students at Science and Math Charter, Samuel J. Green Charter, and Sophie B. Wright all worked on a clock painting project titled "International Clock-making". Each youth artist received a clock to design and paint. Participants selected a international city or town and design their clocks using researched information. Italy, Egypt, Cuba and London were amongst the cities chosen by the participants. The finished clocks were displayed at each schools showcase displaying the exact time in the place the design represented.
