Artist Spotlight:

A New Horizon – Brooklynn Johnson is one of our new young leaders at YA/YA. She started her work with YA/YA making hats in 2006 at the Science and Math Charter Urban Heroes program.
She demonstrated a strong sense of leadership with her peers and was later hired the following summer as an artist intern with YA/YA. She officially joined the organization last September and has continued to work as a youth artist intern while working on her own YA/YA projects. YA/YA is excited to have Brooklynn as a part of the new youth group as we recruit to rebuild the YA/YA guild.
